STEM Scouts info
STEM Scouts is a tactile program developed by scientists at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Knoxville, TN then piloted nationwide by BSA since 2014.

The aim of STEM Scouts is to help girls and boys in grades 3-8 develop an interest and see the possibilities for future careers. Each year we release 5 modules for elementary school youth, and 5 modules for middle school youth, for a total of 20 weeks of Lab meetings.

To adapt for the pandemic, we have packaged all activity kits for individual youth, so no sharing a beaker! This allows for flexibility in meeting - families may either join in person at one of our Labs or grab their kits and participate from home. Tune in to ask questions and learn more!
